Ovid – Taking a Rest

Resting or just hiding? Good question!

I do adore the tiny detailing of the emu’s feathers down in the very far lower left corner. So sharp,  and in contrast to the lazing, sleeping bird.

This photograph,  I think is perfectly appropriate for today!

 

 

 

Finding this quote by Ovid was a wonderful and timely reminder for me……

 

“Take Rest.

A field that has rested

gives a bountiful crop.”

 

 

 

I have  pre – scheduled a nice selection  of images to share with you in the next couple of weeks while I’m taking a short ‘rest’ like my friend the emu.
